Construction General Laborer

We are currently searching for someone to fill our general laborer position. In this position you will aid the general contractor in completing tasks that are necessary for the security and upkeep of the project site.

Duties of this position include :

  • Safety barrier set-up and maintenance
  • Construction site maintenance & clean-up
  • Assisting other trades
  • Recording data about site deliveries
  • Escorting site personnel to their respective locations

Interested parties should possess the following qualifications.

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a high-school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Possess 6 months of construction related experience
  • CDL license is preferred but not required
  • Physical ability to work outside in various weather conditions

Applicants must be able to pass the homeland security screening. Applicants must also submit and pass a drug screening.

Gate Guard Position

The Gate Guard is primarily responsible to perform essential service controlling access to property by employees and visitors, and making sure that employees and visitors being escorted adhere to the rules of the area and remain in the areas that they are authorized to access. The Gate Guard will ensure positive control of all approved but uncleared individuals – from verification of identity upon arrival at the facility to personally escorting them within the facility and ensuring they exit appropriately. The Escort does not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer and has no arrest or apprehension powers. Any violation of FAA and TSA rules & regulations will be reported immediately to the on-site local law enforcement authority. A majority of work is performed outdoors on private property. 

Requirement: Minimum High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 21 years of age. U.S. Citizenship Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a badge which includes a Homeland Security Background Screening. Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred. (Honorable Discharge if applicable) MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OUTDOORS IN MOST WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Equipment Operator/ Laborer Position

Operators are responsible for jobs related to grounds maintenance and dust control.

This position will involve moderately complex work activities that may include the operation of heavy equipment. Equipment will include trucks, street sweepers and other pieces of equipment.

This position requires cleaning, maintaining, and securing all equipment as directed by legislation, policies and procedures. Hirees will perform daily maintenence and safety checks along with advising supervisors of any required maintenance and repairs.

Equipment operators will need to use the equipment for its intended purpose with little or no assistance. Equipment will need to be operated in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
One (1) year of experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, dozers, and graders. Must have proficient knowledge of truck and equipment safety. Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques. Experienced in equipment cleaning and standards and procedures. Must have the ability to read, and write to record activities and maintain daily records. Must have ability to work independently or as a team member successfully. Must possess a Commercial Drivers License with valid medical card at time of application.
